rickyg's world

Just my random ramblings on my life and other things that might interest me at the time. For the summer and fall this will probably be populated with my ramblings about the Saskatchewan Roughriders CFL football team.

Alrighty Labour Day is over and now it's Banjo Bowl time.

The weekend was a whole lot of fun and I'm hoping this one will be almost as good, it can't be as good because it's in Winnipeg. I mean who goes to Winnipeg for anything execept a football game or an occasional concert? Ask your friends. Calgary is always the trip of choice and it's farther away. But there are some good people in Winnipeg such as the guys in the pic with me. They post on riderfans.com and I run into them at the Labour Day game all the time. But damn they have horrible taste in clothes and teams.

And if I am posting pics then I had to include this one of Terry and me. He is the ultimate sidekick and a fantastic kid. I think he gets as excited about games now as TC and I do. And thats not easy. It helps that there are always some kids at the tailgate and that there are a bunch of them around us at the game. He always sets out to meet new friends every time we leave the house and usually succeeds.

This was a pic that needed to be taken. This girl must have spent a lot of time getting that mohawk to work.

This is a pic of Tbow1000 from Riderville and his wife. Otherwise known as Chris and Devan. They emailed me the night before the game wondering where the tailgate was and if they could hang out with us. It turns out that they sit 2 seats over from us at the games and had just never introduced themselves. We had a lot of fun with them and hope to see them out at the tailgate again soon. They are from Redvers, Sask. and make the drive for most of the games. Good luck with the soon to be born baby.

Well that's enough for now. I'll probably post more after practice. Thanks for reading my ramblings. Posted by Picasa
